What JSON format does the converter expect?
An array of event objects, a single event object, or {"name": "...", "events": [...]}. Each event needs a start date (field "start" or "date", ISO 8601 format like "2026-08-01T10:00:00Z") and can have summary (or "title"), end, allDay, location, description, url, status, categories, organizer, and attendees.
What date format should I use?
ISO 8601, e.g. "2026-08-01T10:00:00Z" or "2026-08-01". Events with an unreadable start date are reported with a clear error instead of producing a broken calendar.
Are all-day and recurring events supported?
All-day events: yes — set "allDay": true and the event is written as a date-only entry. Recurring events: pass a standard RRULE string in the "recurrence" field (e.g. "FREQ=WEEKLY;BYDAY=MO") and it is included as-is.
How are timezones handled?
Event times are converted to UTC in the ICS file. Calendar apps then display them in each viewer’s local timezone. Include an explicit offset in your ISO dates (e.g. "+02:00" or "Z") to control the exact moment.
How do I import the ICS file into Google Calendar?
In Google Calendar settings choose Import & export → Import, select the .ics file, pick a destination calendar, and import. In Apple Calendar or Outlook, simply open the file.
